I had a great time reading the text today and seeing again the power that comes to us from the name of Jesus. I found it interesting that I was praying about our city government on the day of the primary election.

What I experienced was the overwelming thought that this is the fundamental of being a Christian, of being a Christian Church or Ministry. To glorify the name of Jesus. To proclaim the name of Jesus. To rely on the power that is in the name of Jesus. To let every part of our life and our ministry be totally centered in Jesus. Totally absorbed in him. It seems I am easily sidetracked at times. When a sports team's game is "off" they go back to the basic fundamentals to get back on track. Help me Jesus to stay centered in you.
